Bali Garden Taman Bunga Nusantara


This weekend we want to watch Flowers. Flowers? Was a bit uncomfortable, but talking about Flowers is not the feminine consumption only. Netherlands, for example, Tulip Garden (Keukenhoff) is one of the most to do list if you go there, watch by all gender, although they not open in each season, only from April to May.

Well, Indonesia has all year-round Flowers bloom in all season, why we are not included Flowers to the most to do list for tourists? I do not apologize for this nationalism smells statement, it is August you know.
Taman Bunga Nusantara (TBN) is located in Cipanas district, Cianjur, West Java, 6 km east of the Kota Bunga. Reasonably priced ticket only Rp25.000 includes Dotto train. Hoping to see Indonesia’s genuine garden, but all we find is imported names such American garden, French garden, Mediterranean garden and Japanese garden.

American Garden featuring shrubs garden, like a yellow Echinacea, like a cowboy film while you hear Blowing with the wind by Bob Dylan in local radio, French garden with shrubs shaped like a cylinder and roses, Mediterranean garden with a cactus and Japanese walled garden.

Among of all gardens, there is one garden that makes me proud, Balinese garden. Bali is never die, able to compete with other “state” garden although Bali is not a state.  
Bali Garden presents entrance red brick gate, ‘bale Bengong’ (such a traditional hut) with a series of Cambodian tree (Plumeria rubra) on both sides of the path.

Unfortunately Cambodia’s Flower has elapsed its blossoming period, but the charm is still remains. Red Heliconia’s flower is matching with wall gate.
Also there is a little river with wooden bridge.

Lotus (Nelumbo Druce Nelumbium) shows off its beauty magenta flower.
Ouch really beautiful, not to mention seasoned symphony of gurgling water and splashing of baby frog legs.


How to get there:
From Jakarta
by bus : From "Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal" (Jakarta-Garut or Jakarta-Tasikmalaya via Puncak/Ciawi ) stop at "Kota Wisata" (note there is no bus stop here but you can ask the driver to stop)
Take domestic "public transportation" to the Taman Bunga Nusantara about 8km

Akhir Kisah Hidup Tokoh Film Bumi Manusia

Bumi Manusia, roman karya Pramudya Ananta Toer, merupakan bagian pertama dalam empat novel seri Pulau Buru- Bumi Manusia - Anak Semua Bangsa - Jejak Langkah - Rumah Kaca. Sebuah novel berseting tahun 1898 tentang pertemuan budaya-politik antara negeri jajahan dengan negeri induknya. Kutukan Pesugihan Gunung Kawi

thanks for reading, Dari penutur asli Juragan Pabrik Sabun Cuci. cuci baju di sungai Kisah ini disarikan dari pengalaman nyata, tepatnya terjadi sekitar tahun 70an ketika sabun cuci masih berbentuk batangan. Sebut saja pak Perbawa pemilik pabrik sabun cuci di kabupaten N. Pabriknya cukup lumayan untuk ukuran kota kecil waktu itu. Saya mendapatkan cerita ini dari beliau di suatu magrib sekitar awal tahun 2000an, begini lengkapnya:      Waktu itu Pak Perbawa baru saja pensiun dari dinas TNI (kala itu ABRI). Sebagai seorang bintara beristri satu beranak tiga tentu sudah biasa hidup sederhana. Menjelang pensiun, pak Perbawa merintis usaha keluarga, memproduksi sabun cuci batangan. Saat itu masih jarang yang punya mesin cuci, maklum meskipun di Jawa, tak semua daerah dilalui jaringan listrik.
